I had a question about their router bits about 30 minutes ago, and I got a response (from a person!) about 12 minutes later. I emailed Al back and got another response in about 10 minutes.
He also lists same day shipping if ordered before 6pm.
Just wanted to let you guys know that if you have a need for router bits, they have absolutely great customer service!

I have been the purchasing manager for a woodworking supply house for the last 15 years. If it's router bits or woodworking tools, give me a shout. I might just be able to help any of my fellow polkies out."she had the body of Venus, with arms."

Sorry...but router bits don't last forever. By the way...what brand bits did you pick up?"she had the body of Venus, with arms."

Is whiteside a good brand? I'm not too worried about it, its basically 5 bits in one for the price of 2 at a retail store.
Thanks though, now I know who to go with!

Whiteside makes a good bit. CMT is a good bit as well, maybe a little better carbide, but nothing wrong with Whiteside...better than Freud in my opinion.
What kind of router you have?"she had the body of Venus, with arms." -

Any good router tables youd suggest? Do you sell those as well?

Good router tables? That is like asking if I sell good speakers...you have to be a little more specific. Do you want bench top or stand alone? IMHO, Jessem is the best, but they start around 400+...BenchDog has nice tables as well. All depends on features and price range.

Sorry, Im a noob...lol.
I'm not really looking for the best at this point. Most of the routing i do is roundovers and such for the boxes I build, but I use the Jasper Circle Jig quite a bit and its great for doing big holes, but its scary doing smaller ones because my hand is just a few inches from the bit. I'm looking for something cheap that will be a little more safe than holding the router with one hand and and turning a 3" diameter piece of wood with the other.

If your looking for something cheap to just get by with and to help keep all your fingers, then Craftsman might be worth looking into. That way you will know for sure your router will fit as well."she had the body of Venus, with arms."
