I have polk rti10s and have been very happy with them. I am looking to add a center channel to the system in the next month.

I have come across good deals on the csi40 and the csi5 is at the very top of my price range.

Is there going to be a big differnce in these speakers or do you all think they are comaprable?

thanks.

I have a Csi5 with RTi 8's. I asked the people here about the csi3 vs csi5 when I was buying the center. Everyone suggested Csi5 as the Csi3 would be too "tinny" for the RTi8's, so I'd suggest the Csi5 for your even more powerful speakers. You don't want the dialogue to get lost in the sound field.

The Csi5 sounds very good and full.

    CSi5.
I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

if the question was between FXi3 or FXi5 for surround channels the answer would have been, most please will tell you I don't see any difference or gain to go to the FXi5 so buy FXi3.

Between CSi3 and CSi5, the difference is big everything is better, bigger with the CSi5.
Now do youhave the space to fit the CSi5?

I have RTi6 for the front and I went with the CSi5 for my center after testing csi3 and csi5 side by side. no question csi5 will bring the center channel to the center....

The CSi-3 and CSi-5 are timbre matched to the RTI series speakers. Of those two I would also suggest the CSi-5 as the best match to your RTi-10s.
