I've loved this guy's stuff since I was a teenager, yet I've never seen him in concert, until this Monday night!

My wife & I have great seats in an intimate theater setting...sure hope he's great!

    BF:
The wife and myself finally caught his show 15 months ago. First rate sound, excellent harmonies, and most of all he's having a great time every night.

Have you seen him in concert?

Yes, both live years ago, and some of his latest concert DVD's. He hasn't lost a thing.

    Terrific concert!

Everything I'd hoped it would be.

James was in top form - he's about 62! - and can still sing every note! Amazing! The band was great, James' interaction with the audience was fun and engaging.

Just a great concert and well worth the coin. It's not every day you get to see a legend.

....and can still sing every note!
LOL... It's not like he's Pavarotti or anything...

Know what you mean tho... Few years ago I saw him perform at our local outdoor pavillion. Sounded very much the same as the first time I spun Mud Slide Slim eons ago. Same clear, effortless quality...

    Glad you enjoyed him.
    More later,
    Tour...

    Wow...

I am suprised to read your reviews.

I took my wife to see him about three years ago and it was so bad we left half way through.

Yep...used to make out with the GF in high school listening to Fire and Rain and Sweet Baby James. Love his version of Steamroller.
