...yes, that's what I'm doing.
I have two tests tomorrow (in the morning, no less), a lab notebook for BIO due (that I'm four labs behind in), a paper, and two ENG assignments due tomorrow. And I haven't even started a one of them.
And I can't get motivated.
So what am I doing? I'm memorizing Pi, of course!

I'm up to 40 decimals consistently, now.

You, my friend, have no ****!
I know it up to 3.141592653 and actually used it at work Friday in front of a woman I work with. She was shocked I knew that! -
Hahaha. I've used 3.141592654 (that three rounds up ) for a good while.

That's where I'm at so far. I think it's time to look at my hw now. *sigh*George Grand wrote: »

Not bad. Which method are you using to memorize them? I was thinking you could make a song with the numbers to memorize it (hehe!).
-
Hahahaha. I'm not that creative. If you go to that website, they've got them grouped in groups of ten digits. I'm just memorizing them one group at a time.George Grand wrote: »

Daaaang. Since my friend is at 70 decimal places while I'm at 50, I thought maybe I could say them faster. No go.
The fastest I've said the first 50 is 8.8 seconds. He's done it in 6.13 so far. *sigh*George Grand wrote: »

Procrastination is like masturbation. It feels good while you're doing it, but in the end you're still just **** yourself.

Just checking to see if I remember it.

I love how music can brighten up a bad day. -
That reminds me ..... one of these days I'm going to have to get around to filing my taxes.
I might try doing that during the Christmas break. I dunno. I'll see.Sal Palooza -

'**** yourself' might go better.
My view on procrastination has a direct correlation to what I'm doing. When I was finishing my speech this morning at 2:30, that quote was what i was thinking. Now that I'm done and know i have a test next week i need to start studying for, my view switches over to "The faster you get behind, the more time you have to catch up."

I was going to read this thread today, but I think I'll wait until tomorrow. Or the next day.

But if you haven't read this thread, then how are you posting? Unless you're from the future, and you sent your present self a message saying to post that without actually reading the thread... Hmm...
Evidently it's getting a little late, and I should probably go to bed before my brain runs off on any more tangents. I blame the awesome pile of LPs I've spent the last 5 hours listening to.:D -
WTF is wrong with you guys? Memorizing pi? Is that what the world has come to? I remember when kids used to procrastinate by playing video games or going to the bar. Yeah, that was real procrastination there. I just don't understand this new generation...
