Another extremely well done rerelease by RTI!

The sonics are 4 1/2 stars only because there is some tape hiss present from the original analog masters but it is very tolerable.

Other than that, the dynamic range, quietness of the vinyl and DEEP TIGHT BASS is awesome.

Another highly recommended one.

Now the first of december was covered with snow
And so was the turnpike from stockbridge to boston
Lord, the berkshires seemed dream-like on account of that frosting
With ten miles behind me and ten thousand more to go

I love those lines. I made that drive several times and sang that song to myself many times along the way.

I've got a minty original pressing of Moondance, one of my faves. I had to bag another copy for Dave in New Zealand or sooner or later he would have clocked me over the head with a shovel and taken mine.

I've got a copy that I saved from the mold archives that is in pretty good shape but I still am waiting with my tongue hanging out for the RTI 180 gm pressing. Steve Hoffman is doing an incredible job with these rereleases.
