Need Help Again

For the first time in my system I have 12volt triggers. One in my Rotel CD player & the other in my Sunfire prepro.

Is it possible to use these to be able to turn my cd player on & off via the prepro? I'm already tired of turning it on & off manually. I had it plugged into my Denon which took care of it.

When I went into Radio Shack asking about it.."He looked at me uncomprehendingly like cows at a passing train.":D He didn't think it could be done, or the other person he asked either.:rolleyes:

So tell me fellas, is this possible? If so, please post a link to what I need to get since I've never seen one.

It can be done if the cd player has a 12v "in" trigger. I'll get the link.

If it does not, there are some power centers that have 12volt triggers on banks of outlets. That could do it for you as well.

The Rotel does have a 12v trigger in.

The Sunfire has 12vdv outputs. They reference it using it with the Sunfire amp. But I take it you can use it for a cd player instead.
