New owner Polk SDA-1

I will be acquiring these speakers in a couple of days. Along with a 300wpc Yamaha rig, all free of charge. I'm sure it will all be in pristine condition. What do I absolutely need to know about placement and set-up. I don't know if there will be any literature with the equipment. I have a large 20 x 30ish room with cathedral ceilings. I've done a little reading on the web and I'm starting to get excited about playin' around with the set-up. It will be a stereo only set up at this time.

KWM, welcome to Club Polk.. and a big congrats on your new free SDA 1's and Yamaha gear. there are tons of info on this site about those speakers.. ask any questions you may have.. lost of helpful folks here, Including moi ;)
