Now that my mint SRS search is done ( Yeah right ;) ) , I am moving onto a sub build that was on the backburner because I was too busy on craigslist :) Like the vintage Polks, I like radiators...mostly because when you get into the REALLY high power...xmax that you measure with a tape measure subs...port huffing is a serious issue even with 6" diameter ports.

All drivers/radiators are TC Sounds...I will show design/specs/progress/pics...as I go.
Right now are some pics of the radiators I am using...being off work right now for a tweaked back they are the only things in this build I can lift at the moment for pics :)
I have to recruit friends for this build. There will be 4 of these radiators in the build.....and 2 active drivers...all with Titanium cones

Info on the radiators..... http://www.audiopulse.com/products/passive-radiators/vmp

Nice! I've always been a fan of radiators. You have to post pics of the completed project.

I am having these guys http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/homeaudioenclosure.php custom build my own custon designed enclosure...they do awesome work. It has to ship freight because just the enclosure alone weighs approx 300 pounds.....

Oh yeah...their ready made subs are awesome too....I was just showing their shop and warehouse in the pics....I can't wait for my custom enclosure to get here. The paint is awesome as well...reminds me of truck bed liner :)

There's a pickup truck in my g/f's apartment complex that's painted entirely of bed liner. I need to take pictures of it.

There's one around my neck of the woods.....talk about scratch proof :D

You'd probably ruin your car key trying to key the thing.

Last 18" radiators should be here by wednesday....then its build time :D

The ones I am waiting for are a bit different then the TC Sounds ones I already received and are for the channels other then LF/center/RF...still 3" P-P xmax monsters though :) Actually these are more like the 1.2tl's radiator on massive amounts of steroids in all aspects.
