Problems problems problems.

Just bought a XA1 and currently have Oppo.

Problem is the XA1 has 5.1 out for DDTrueHD and Oppo is SACD. But HK only have one set of 7.1 analog inputs and no HDMI.

Is there any solution to this? An analog switch or splitter or something?

I've been using this component video switch for a couple of months now without any problems, Walmart has them for about $20.

I'd also like to know what you think about the XA1's SD up conversion compared to your Oppo 981.

    Thanks Miller.

So component (3 video) with 2 audio, that equals 5 connections..but no sub connection.

Here is the switch I've been using for a couple of months now. It has worked flawlessly but there is quite a big price difference. If I can get the ground loop issue squared away in my H/T room with using the Pioneer Elite receiver as a pre-amp it will be up for sale in the FS thread for a really good price.

    Thank you sir...

I knew there was an easy solution. The signal is straight through right?
