Right up my alley, coming out on 11/13 (XBox 360 and PS3. PC later..)

Apparently, any surface in the game that stands out more than 2" will be accessible by your character...making the game quite dynamic.

Anyone else anticipating this one?

I've been looking forward to this game since they first interviewed Jade Raymond talking about the features of the game. The 2in thing is amazing as well as the crowd mechanics that they have, and then there is the free running. This game looks amazing and the plot seems to be very mysterious, not sure how they are going to mix the sci-fi stuff in here but I am interested to see the results.

I like games where there's a lot of sneaking around and stealth tactics put to use. It's probably why the Splinter Cell and Metal Gear series are two of my favorites. I like the twist with this one and I too am interested to see the twist it takes from how it's presented right now.

This hasn't been my experience with Amazon. I'll probably hit up one of the retailers on the 14th.

There were none left at the Best Buy I went to. Then I am looking on the new release table they have up and one of the employees walks up and says "Hey, how are you doing?" "Pretty good!" Then he slaps down the last copy of Assassin's Creed on the table. :D

Having had more time to play it, VERY cool game. The detail is amazing, and it's quite a bit different than everything else that is out there. I just made it to Damasscus tonight and that city is great. You have to blend in with a group of scholars to get passed the guards. Lots of sneaking around.

I would definitely recommend this game to people who want to try something different.

Anyone experienced the frame rate problems/screen tearing and lock-ups that I have been reading about with both version of this game?

I saw this game at E3 a while back and couldn't wait to get it, but I'm glad I did based on the bug reports I've read on Ubisoft's forum.

i have ben playing it for about 10+ hours now and havent realy experienced any of what you mentioned, actually maybe one or two screen tears but considering the size of the geometry and the detail it renders it..im willing to forgive it here and there. overall its a gorgeous game.my only slight beef is the realtime shadowing is a little harsh. if you look at shadows (especially player created shadows) they are extremely edgy

I'm about 6+ hours in and haven't had any tearing or lock ups. I'm still not crazy about the controls though.
I still can't get enough of running and climbing around and listening to people's comments. :D

I am almost done with the game and have had it lock up on me 4 times. The only goo d thing is when I restart the ps3 it starts back where it froze up. Not a big deal though. BY THE WAY THIS GAME IS FREAKIN AWESOME.

Hmm... I'll have to grab it, then.

Seems Best Buy is floating a $10 off video games coupon at the moment. It expires Wednesday (11/28/07). (Google it!) Perfect excuse to spend another $50...errrrr, save $10, I mean!

COD4 was actually pretty easy and short. I was very disappointed in how fast I went through this game. Great gameplay though.

It's not if you play it on hard. You can't just rush through. Anything normal and above is, I agree, too easy.

You guys actually play the storyline (in ref. to COD4)? I always skip to the multiplayer ASAP... ;)

I might have to try something different, although I just used my Amazon GC's for COD4. I think this is more of a PS3 game the way it's played than a PC game? Perfect opportunity to test out my PS3 for games as well, currently I only have NFL'07 for it. Can't wait for GT HD...

Finally got my filthy mitts on this game.

Wow. Its gorgeous. If Santa doesn't bring me a copy I am going to buy it for sure. Its just plain awesome. Looks like its going to be one of the better games for the 360. Very unique to say the least.

Ubisoft is quickly becoming one of my favorite companies.

Also, the draw distance and detail of the landscapes is ridiculous. Its like playing Oblivion or Two Worlds, but prettier and smoother.

They are def. going to have to make a sequel to this game as the ending confused the hell out of me.

I've heard the same from others.

I haven't played it in a week or two, it's not for me. Anyone interested in it? :D
