Disregard: Due to some enlightening information provided.

See Steve's all to often crow-eating, apology giving, non researching, pitiful diplomatting, sorry **** quite a few posts down...

Sorry guys/gals apparently this is a less-than-savory individual.

Personally, I don't care for all this "ganing up" business either, but that is not to say you haven't earned a large portion of it. You have to decide for yourself if you want to participate in this forum or not. Granted--this place is not for the thinned skinned, but sometimes people try too hard. Respect is earned, not given automatically, and I think a little humility is in order.

There are times when I have screwed up here---and I got with both barrels. Did I deserve it?...probably, no, make that a YES. I apologized and took a different approach. Hell, I ended up in the "Hall of Shame" 3 times in my first month. I had to adapt, and I did.

There's an old saying that goes: "It's best to eat crow while it is still warm."

How true. Maybe a different approach on your part is needed--or different attitude. We all make mistakes--not a big deal, take the high road and move forward.

    Just some advice.

Nice post Steve and I felt the same way early on about the "gangin up" thing but I quickly lost sympathy. You're very eloquent post will fall on deaf ears I'm afraid as many times similar advice has been offered and refused.

I too had some less than pleasant exchanges when I first arrived, but I quickly understood how it worked and only took me about 5-7 posts to learn how to integrate myself and my idea's. Respect is earned around here and not given just because...............

You had also not been banned from a bunch of internet audio forums on the net either. What's the old saying...a leopard never changes it's spots.

The sooner "permanently gone" the better. The ignore feature is good to a degree but it still clutters up the forum. It takes a village to raise a child....so maybe it takes an entire forum to run off an idiot.

    Attitude = everything
    Attitude for Ka7niq = awful.

i.e. everything about Ka7niq is awful.

Man, love the transitive properly. Or, is that reflective? Either way, let's get rid of him. How is Ka7niq being a part of this community a good thing? Has he contributed anything that could be mistaken for worthwhile?

I could not think of a better way of saying what you wrote. Here Here job well done.
The hardest part of forums is you don't know how the next person will take
what you write. Face to face or on the phone you can visual or use voice inflections to set the tone of what you have to say.

This is a great forum but humble pie needs to be eating or it will be administered. LOL

What a beautiful day in the neighborhood,

Janmike smacked me around once and I am far better for it. Everyone needs to take their medicine every now and again. (I hope you're freezing your butt off up in yellowknife . . . 51st state wannabe). . . ahem. Being humble and taking responsibility for your actions takes practice. Thanks.

    Back to topic....

Steve...that's all sweet of you and all to want to give him a chance to redeem himself. Fact is he has been an **** here (more than once...under different names) and elsewhere, many, many times. He appears to be a cancer wherever he posts. I don't care if he knows (or thinks he knows) the most interesting audio BS on the face of the earth, his presence is unwelcome by me and many others. At first it was entertaining but now it is merely disruptive. I have him on my ignore list but I still must wade through all the crap to get to other stuff worth reading.

How he has stayed on the forum, saying the things he has said, regardless of the "so called" provocation is beyond me. People with much less baggage have been tossed faster for less. I for one am extremely disappointed in the moderators for allowing him to stay.
