I've got it on the Christmas list.

Also gonna get Ocean's 11/12/13, the Matrix Trilogy, Bourne Trilogy, etc.

Indiana Jones HD-DVD should come out eventually and is already on amazon. Spiderman 3 HD-DVD is up on Amazon as well. Basically some really good stuff for HD-DVD.

I see some cheap BR players now online but not even sure I want to get one anymore. Would be nice to be able to watch Casino Royale and some others in BR, but not itching too bad for it yet.
Stereo Rig: Hales Revelation 3, Musical Fidelity CD-Pre 24, Forte Model 3 amp, Lexicon RT-10 SACD, MMF-5 w/speedbox, Forte Model 2 Phono Pre, Cardas Crosslink, APC H15, URC MX-950, Lovan Stand
Bedroom: Samsung HPR-4252, Toshiba HD-A2, HK 3480, Signal Cable, AQ speaker cable, Totem Dreamcatchers, SVS PB10-NSD, URC MX-850

The only problem is that the set is incomplete, you are going to have the 5 movies in the box set and then 2 sitting next to them. When I get something like this it is all or nothing.

Oh, is that BR? No biggie for me, only liked the second one, and already own it on regular SD-DVD. Didn't bother seeing #3 in theaters, don't have much interest in seeing it or SpiderMan 1 in the future.

Is it just me or does it seem like HD has really stepped up their game?

Seems just a few months ago all you saw was BR.

And now its like "HERE ARE ALL THE HD DVD'S COMING OUT....oh...and yeah...we have a few Blue rays too...

It seemed most were going BR exclusive, then most good movies seemed like they were coming out on both. . . but, yeah, now it seems like most of the good movies/series are HD-DVD exclusive.

Again, I can get a Samsung BD-P1000 for $200 but not sure I even want to anymore.

I'm going HD for my first HD player.

Then I'll buy a HD/BR universal player in a couple of years when they are $299
