This morning I adoped Buster. He is an 11 week old Lab mix. He has a great personality and just been chillin with me since I got him home. Will start trying to leash train him starting today as he had a fenced in yard to run around before. I have not had a dog in many years so I am quite excited to have one again. Here is a pic of the pooch.

Nice looking dog, and good on you. Reminds me a little of my lab sheppard mixes I had. Awesome dogs very intelligent and listen descent (females more so than the males)

Look at the size of those paws. Buster is going to be a BIG boy!
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

Awesome....glad to see you give a mix a home....Lab mixes can be one of the best dogs around. I have one pure lab and 3 lab mixes...lets see Hound/Lab Rhodesian Ridgeback/Lab and the Queen of the 4 dog pack a Rottweiler/Lab.

Rescued all 3 of the lab mixes....the pure my friend was moving to Utah and couldnt take him...this was @ 8 months old...he is now 15 years old...longest living large dog I have ever had. Be good to him, all he wants in life is to please you...rock on :)

Dogs are mans best friend.:) Good on ya Dave. your blood pressure will drop and you will live longer.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Thanks guys! He is really smart. He is picking up walking on the leash very quickly and I already taught him the sit command.

I would suggest a spicy BBQ glaze when you're ready to eat him.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Well done, Fireman! That's a great looking mutt.

I took in a Pit Bull stray for 3 days earlier this year, but living in an apartment that doesn't allow dogs, wasn't able to keep him.

Did find a good home for him though!

Yes he is a chick magnet. I found that out walking him around my development yesterday. I am going to take him to the park today and see how he does. He is very shy with people so I have to get him over that.

Wow, what a great looking dog! I've always liked mixes over pure breds, as they seem to have a more even tempermant (sp). Congrats, he should bring many years of happiness to your home.
