I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that this weekend there are TWO electronics/radio/hifi fleamarkets.

NEARC Saturday in Manchesta, NH
www.nearc.net

and the last MIT Flea for the season in the People's Republic of Cambridge on Sunday.

That is all.

yup; there's an admission fee but it's worth it if you like that sort of thing.

I've never been to those events. Are you going? How was it the last time? I just want to grab something sounds good. Are they also selling stuffs or just demo? It takes only 50 miles from Waltham, MA so I think not too bad.

it's old radio, electronics, and hi-fi stuff. Equipment, books, parts, and tubes. Everything from trash to treasure. Whether you'll find anything interesting there depends upon what you're interested in.

Some things (off the top of my head) I've picked up at NEARC over the years:

    Heathkit HV capacitor tester
Heathkit AA-32 stereo tube integrated amp
    Sansui 1000A tube stereo receiver
Lafayette multiband (general coverage) communication receiver
    1964 Radio Shack catalog

This seems like a great time to resurrect an ancient thread :-)
Tne semi-annual (or is that hemi-annual? ... or biennial?) NEARC antique radio fleamarket is this coming Saturday Spetember 28 in the out-of-the-way little hamlet of Brookline NH (ya can't get theah from heah, as we like to say in Northern New England...).

Hope springs eternal, so I'll be there!
