Still loving the 70's for my home theater setup, but these are for the 2-channel system that I've been putting together for my living room for a while now. The 15's are the last piece of the puzzle.

.... Well, sort of. I'm going to steal the ADCOM from my HT setup and eventually find a 5 channel amp to replace it with. The Entech DAC is moving to to channel and I'll finally get to use that fabulous Nak CA-5.

SDA's my dear friend, SDA's. Your wife will allow them once she hears them :D;) .

Seriously, I took a bit closer look at my 1C's last night and they do take up more real estate and they are more critical about placement. I assume you are putting them up stairs where the HT formerly was?

DKG has a pair of 2's FS. I bet he'd even let you try them out and I'd volunteer to help load and unload them on both ends. I'm really just giving you a little $h*t. LSi's will be spectacular if that's what you decide on.

If you want to try the SDA 2A's with the RDO tweeters in them, I can bring them over and you can give them a try. If I have some help to get them loaded up that would be great also. They are in the original boxes, so they aren't too bad to move. Not trying to derail your LSI15 plan, but if you want to try them let me know! Doug.

That might just work out! I may have a modified LITE-dac on loan from another Aaron by then which he just bought as a 2nd unit because the $$$ was so good (he already has one he modified himself).

Definatley meet at Doug's first (Maggies, B&k/LSi HT) and if you want to do a short session here with the 1C's we can swing by on the way to your place Aaron. Later in afternoon might be better becuause if this weather keeps up I might be golfing.

I'm sure American in Rockford has a pair they will sell you! If you can find a pair at a decent price at the Tweeter in Schaumburg, the one on Randall Road, or the one in Fox Valley I would even offer to drive my truck to work and pick them up for you. You don't have to worry if I'll feed your addiction :D

:D;) American doesn't sell LSi's anymore! I was there this past weekend. the kid was sure to tell me that RTi8's were on sale buy one get one free though. I'm kinda holding out for a sweet used deal, but was thinking of calling Tweeter to see what kind of a deal I could get. Didn't you just pick some up out there for a good deal?

Special K's compendium should be out shortly.

Sorry - I forgot about the secret plan, my bad ;)

I got a good deal on my LSiC and LSiFX at the Tweeter in Fox Valley. They were having a sale and that Tweeter just happened to have several in stock and that gave them an incentive to get them off their books. You'll probably get a better deal in person. You need to be ready to pull the trigger. Tweeter just got an influx of capital, so I'm not sure if the store managers are trying to keep comp store sales up to keep their jobs.

Aaron - I would take a serious look at the Spendor S5E's that Doro has for sale in the FM. They are outstanding speakers, you could make a trip to Saturday Audio in Chicago to audition them.

I have an excellent pair of monitor 10's and a very rough pair of SDA 1b's. Talk about killer home theater on the cheap.

Both are currently unused and you are welcome to try them out for the next 6months - 1 year while you are waiting for your dream LSi15's to materialize. (both are unused right now and it is a damn shame...)

Aaron, I was at American (peoria) tonite and while they don't have any lsi's in store they were more than willing to get me a pair. Maybe ask your store.
