Don't garbage up this thread too Special K.

People who have completed ONE transaction with me, are allowed to make their checks payable to The Githens Center. Why am I even responding to you, a lowlife if I ever heard one.

About the Sony CDP XE-500. Single disc or multiple? Vintage? Amount of use? Price?
    Thanks, Phil

I always make the check payable to George. That way he can make the gift and take the deduction. I mean afterall, he paid for the items, packing and shipping ...he should at least be able to get the tax break.

For the amoeba brained detractor of this thread... (my apologies to the amoebas)...I could care less where or what George does with the money I send him. Whatever he sells is his to do with as he pleases, always in excellent shape and more that worth what I pay for it. Case closed.

Something tells me we won't be having to worry about certain issues very soon anyway...

Single disc Phil. I have 3 of them. The radio station bought 3, and one was a back-up in case the others failed. Minimal use, the radio station was almost exclusively vinyl. This station was "WWJZ, 640 on the AM dial, playing ALL the hits of the 30's, 40's, AND 50,s. WE are the station that remembers." I wish I had a dollar for every time I uttered that line." $40 + shipping.

Thanks to Steve and George D.

Man your garage must be a college kids party house fantasy. You could open up a starter system clinic.

You have no idea Mr. Brick. HOWEVER, things have started to pick up a little over this weekend. "New" Advent's are gone, Pioneer SX-980 is spoken for (Dragon), Pioneer CT-700 (Shack), NAD tuna & Proton cassette deck (Hearingimpared), Pioneer T-6500 II gone, Sony cd carousel/Marantz t-table and Pioneer SX-2300 receiver. All out today.

George, I have a rather large storage unit that is climate controlled. If you are honestly strapped for space that badly, I can dig out a corner for you to stack some things there.

I have piles of KLH 17's in there that I still have to go through. Bad crossovers, blown tweeters, missing grilles...last I checked I had 9 pairs of 17's and one pair of 20's and only 3 pairs of the 17's are fully functional.

Is the CDP - 500 a decent player? I haven't had a chance to look it up.
    Thanks, Phil

It's a standard run-of-the-mill machine Phil. It plays cd's. No "seeing God" revelations or anything like that. I'd be a liar if I said it was.

Jeeze, the LEAST you could do is leave those 302's in my stereo room before you tip on out.

Isn't there a rule that if you leave Brylcreme stains on someones pillow case they have dibs on the choice AR speaks??

Piss off Troy. They are headed HERE before they ever go THERE. You have to wait for 2 people to die to listen to them. I only have to wait for one.
