The same has just recently been discussed here.
I think you are asking about the same seller.

They were bought from an unauthorized dealer. You save some money, but you're out the warranty.

I bought a PSW1000 from this seller. No serial numbers...I missed that part of the auction. The sub arrived double boxed and in new condition. Pretty pleased with the price as well. They claim they will warranty the product themselves for 5 years. We'll see.

I bought my Parasound amp from an unauthorized dealer, rolled the dice and got lucky. It's been running great for 4 years. I got it for $749 versus $1000. With hindsight, I probably would have paid the extra dough for the piece of mind. I figured with Parasound having a 10 year warranty, I would probably be ok quality wise.

I always get a bit sketched out with gray market. Something very nice about knowing that no loop holes were made, that they aren't B stock, and generally nobody is getting screwed out of it. Especially when dropping real dough; if something goes wrong, you're proverbially SOL.

That said, when things go right... they can really go right.
