For Sale: ATI AT3005 Amplifier (NEW)

I have one AT3005 5-channel amplifier still sealed in its factory shipping carton. It has become clear that my dedicated home theater plans are not going to happen. Retail price is $3200. I'll take $1800 plus shipping, and it is HEAVY. I am located in east central Florida. Send me a PM if interested.
Go here for specs, pictures and owner's manual: http://www.wwsp.com/ati/at3000.htm
ATI also builds high-end amps for Crestron, Outlaw, Adcom, Sim Audio and others. This amp can be the center piece of the most sophisticated HT system. Don't find yourself short on power.. This brute is very well made and generates 300 watts per channel with 5 channels of amplification into 8 ohms (full bandwidth). 450 watts into 4 ohms. Check the link provided above. This unit can be converted to 6 or 7 channels if needed.
I can provide extensive feedback. Local pickup preferred.

Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

I assume Russ is not a trusting type. I have over 400 feedback on eBay with no negatives. I also have flawless Heatware. I am not a troll. I have upped my meager post count here today so that I could put this amp for sale here. The amp is also listed at hometheaterlounge, hometheaterforum, and av123(dot)com forum. I'm trying to avoid eBay where few people would have any idea what this is. I'm also registered at Audiogon although I've never sold anything there.
I've owned Dynaco A-35's, Polk Monitor 10's, and Paradigm Studio Reference 100's, among others. I was ready to take a room vacated by the last of my adult children and make a dedicated theater. I'm ill and the money is not going to be available to do that. So here we are.
I hope that clears things up a bit."You can tell by the kindness of a dog how a human should be." Don Van Vliet -
Who are you on eBay and the others, so that members and/or interested parties can check that out? You don't appear to be bluzrip on eBay.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I'm "323" on eBay since 1998.
There appears to be far more interest in who I am than in the amp. I understand the realities of life on the net but I must assume this site has been particularly hard hit by trolls.
I'd be glad to trade all appropriate information via PM with anyone truly interested in the amplifier."You can tell by the kindness of a dog how a human should be." Don Van Vliet -

I appreciate the interest but I'm still hopeful I'll find a buyer for local pickup. Japan is a long way to ship."You can tell by the kindness of a dog how a human should be." Don Van Vliet -
Bluzrip,
Good luck with your sale. The questions about who you just show that we have a fairly tight community here that tries to be prudent in hopes that members don't get burned by some fly-by-night scammer.
If it was a $50 tuner or something, I'm guessing no one would question you or your intentions, but $1800 is a lot of scrilla.
Welcome again, good luck with your sale, and feel free to stick around afterwards for some audio talk, humorous banter, etc. Our Tasteful Babes thread is a real winner as well.Stereo Rig: Hales Revelation 3, Musical Fidelity CD-Pre 24, Forte Model 3 amp, Lexicon RT-10 SACD, MMF-5 w/speedbox, Forte Model 2 Phono Pre, Cardas Crosslink, APC H15, URC MX-950, Lovan Stand
Bedroom: Samsung HPR-4252, Toshiba HD-A2, HK 3480, Signal Cable, AQ speaker cable, Totem Dreamcatchers, SVS PB10-NSD, URC MX-850 -
Thanks for the welcome, Andy, but I've actually been registered here for 3 years. I've got 2 leads from other forums where I am better known so things are looking up. Shipping remains an issue."You can tell by the kindness of a dog how a human should be." Don Van Vliet

Just curious... would you take an escrow-based payment... like Paypal?
