Need advice on speakers for new room

Howdy,
I'm planning on using a KDL-52"XBR5 LCD in my family room and need recommendations for speakers. I have carpet and some furniture so far and ceiling wire for 4 speakers.. TV so far is tape but that'll be ordered soon. I was originally planning on some type of cube speaker for the ceiling but am now rethinking ceiling speakers would be give me a better look.. I know.... asthetics not function... No, I want function also..
Two rears two fronts on ceiling and a speaker bar just below the TV mounted on the wall.. I'll try to post a pic of the room..
Room from couch to TV is around 12".. You can see the speaker wire hanging from the ceiling. length of room is 25', not all carpeted... Just in TV viewing area.
Total cost of speakers to be a little reasonable... not much... just a little...:D

    How about a SurroundBar and a new DSW PRO series subwoofer?

    Whose surround bar would you use? and... What about the speaker wire that I have in the corners of the room hangin from the ceiling?? I could use the surround bar as the center speaker?

    Edit... Holy cow!! - just saw Polks surround bar. Hadn't seen that in previous trips to the web site.. Will have to cogitate on that a little...

    I would go with the RM series, you could even get away with using the Atrium's if you wanted to. The SurroundBar and a DSW sub would be a super clean, kick **** install.

    How do the DSW's compare to the SVS's?
    Like say a PB12 NSD to the DSW 500?
    and.......
    I know this is anal but would 4 in-ceiling speakers add to the mix or detract? The RM's look like external to ceiling mounts.. Any flush mounts that would work? Ya know, like I got these 4 wires hangin from the ceiling and hate to just tuck them back up in the ceiling...
    Course, more stuff is mo money...:confused:

    I didn't catch that you had it pre-wired, by all means go in wall / ceiling. The hard work is done apparently. You could certainly do an SVS, like every other Tom, Dick, and Harry. I just want to see you breakout and do something different. ;)

    Seriously, get the 5 squared away first, then we can worry about the point 1.

    Still haven't done anything on this project.. Has been sitting for several months - long story..
    I'm close to getting a Sony KDL-52XBR5 for this room and a Polk SurroundBar50 mounted on the wall right below it. Looking at the SVS 16-46PC-Plus base... Thinking of the Onkyo TXSR805 receiver and having ceiling cubes front and rear for the rear and surrounds. Can I put cubes in addition to the SurroundBar50? and.. What ceiling cubes would work?
    Was gonna put in ceiling speakers but there is not enough room for them to fit up in there.
    4 Ceiling wires are in already.. any inputs out there??

    OK, then... Can you use small (hanging on the ceiling) speakers in conjunction with the SB50? Will it ruint the sound? Just trying to use the in-ceiling wires that I have hangin and trying to be minimalistic....
