I have yamaha's premier 2 channel receiver and have had absolutely no problems driving the 4 ohm lsi9's. That receiver is built like a brick **** house. It has large caps, transformer, and heat sinks. I think it drives the lsi9's wonderfully. Please do not devolve this into an "all receivers suck thread".

OK. Am I missing something here? Seems both random and confrontational.

Glad you're happy with the setup though.

Was not meant to be confrontational. I wanted to hear about other people who drive lsi9's with my same receiver maybe in a bigger room and too higher levels (my room is only 12x14 with 8 foot ceilings). I play them kinda low (but have cranked them up); low because I listen for like 4 hours per night. I should have been more elaborate in my original post, sorry guys. Receiver seems rock solid to me.

I drive my Lsi9's with a pioneer Elite... running 2 channel only. God- love the sound! I get compliments on them all the time. I have a Velodyne sub with them and most think they sound better then any towers they have heard. Most are like... " that sound is comming from those little speakers". Heavy s.o.b's is what they are
Glad you lovin as much as I do mine.

    peace
