    It maybe remastered but time has shown that most people object strenuosly to tv show being shot one way & then being remastered to be shown in WS.

    Kung Fu did this with the first season & the uproar was huge. All other seasons were kept as originally aired.

    Wow wow wow!!! I would die to own that! But there’s no way I would have time. Hell, I haven’t even watched the first 3 seasons of Seinfeld my wife bought me a year ago.

    What???:confused::confused:

    Wasnt it originally recorded in WS? I see absolutly NO problem remastering it in WS and Dobly.

    People actually got mad over that? Are they crazy?:eek:

    I don't know when they started shooting TV shows in WS, but none were except I believe Enterprise.

    And yes the uproar on TV Shows On DVD.com was huge. People refused to buy the 1st season of Kung Fu for this very reason. The 2nd & 3rd season were remastered as originally aired.

    I have all 3 seasons of KF, & I have to admit the WS version looks kinda funky. But I wouldn't not buy the 1st season just because of the WS mess.

    Ok. I assumed it was shot originally in WS then transfered to FF for TV. But thats what I get for assuming.

    When you say funky.. You mean picture was distorted?

    Nobody had WS tv's back in the 60's & 80's they hadn't been invented yet. so there was no need to shoot them in WS.

    Not distorted I don't think. I'll have to go home & put it in to see how it looks. I don't remember right now.

    There are some problems with watching TNG on DVD. Sometimes you can hear the set floors creaking and things like that. It was meant for broadcast television.
