So many good games out now, why waste time on demos or betas? HL2 EP2, Bioshock, Halo 3, Portal, Team Fortress 2, etc...

    I've got most of those.

    Have you played UT3 yet?

    No, never really into UT.

As for episode two, it's definitely tougher than the rest of the series. I'm up to the part that you have to destroy all the striders..what a pain.

The demo was far from impressive, you're not missing much.

Im waiting for a Mac UT3 demo...they say they are making the game for Mac but the demo is still MIA. Hopefully I'll be able to put my Macbook Pro to good use! That game should look pretty decent on this computer, especially since it's optimized for dual cores. I'm chomping at the bit for it.

I had problems loading UT3 demo, something with Microsoft .NET install. :(

However, COD4 is stunning, looks great on my x850 which is about 2 years old.

Thats how I feel. I simply cannot devote enough time to the really high quality games that are out, simply because there are so many. So many must have/play titles. Its ridiculous. I would have killed for a situation like this back in high school and college. Theres still a lot of crap out there, but even the crap has gotten much better. And I'm only really playing one system, I don't know what I'd do if I was a PC gamer too.

I'm home on disability for close to two months now, and will be out at least another month due to a work related injury. This couldn't have come at a better time. :D

I also saw that Soldier of Fortune is coming to 360 as well, that game is awesome. Love blowing limbs off with the shotgun.

God bless the GHOUL damage model engine. This should have been a requirement of all FPS games since y2k.

Hopefully they won't dumb it down too much for the 360.

totally agree with you, like the blood splash as well. The more realistic the better, as in I want to see heads being blown off and everything. The live play should be tons of fun, depending on maps of course.
