Well its been almost 2 years since i sold my SDA's and other 2chnl gear and it was time to start over again. Man this **** is addictive. Got a sweet local deal on some RTA 11t's and couldnt help myself and im glad to not have :)

I'd have to say for the older Monitor Series that i have owned and heard these are by far the most well rounded. Other than the peerless tweets, the Sl2000 is by far my fav. Like when you hear a certian car come around the corner you know its a mustang, or a vette etc.. Soon as i got everything hooked up i sat back in my chair with a beer and just grinned for about 2 songs. Ive been jammin alot of live stuff. (Live is my fav) Mostly Blues, Rock Blues and Classic Rock. From Muddy, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Albert King, Canned Heat, JL Hooker, Luther Allison to SRV, Jimi, Zepp, Allman Brothers, Rory G...sheesh all the good stuff. These things give just the right amount of Punch without being to basey and drowning out the mids while given that nice crisp clean high that i know and love about vintage Polks. Not much more i can say. Not the most detailed guy on writing demos but wanted to share my new found happiness for the moment. :D

Back to the music.

And Beer

    Looks great; you need to:

A.-Move your laptop/keyboard towards the center of the desk to get a better stereo.

    or,

B.-Continue with the beers until you don't notice the difference

    :)

I had a pair of 11T's for almost 20 years and loved them (not a fan of the sl2000, however). They are very well rounded, have good clean bass and image like crazy. My only gripe is to get the best soundstage, etc. you need to be sitting right in the center of the sweet spot. They are not as forgiving as the LSi's or later SDA's if you stray from the sweet spot.

    Congrats and enjoy.
