    I have had better luck with a water filtration system.

    I had our installed by local plumber, honestly can't rememebr price off the top of my head. It uses to Carbon tanks to clean water of all impurities. It keeps the minerals that form on fixtures at bay and water heater clean.

    IMHO I can't stand how soft water systems leave a film on you after a shower.
