Absolutely, a waste of hard earned money.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

They will buy your other cables as well. A colleague traded in his MIT 750's and test some cables for 60 days. And not the real $$ ones either. That being said, $13K for cables - WOW.

I am normally of the opinion that just cuz its not for me - doesn't mean its not for anyone. I cannot, however, imagine the component you would have that could cost justify plugging in a $13,000 power cord.

I mean - assuming you would not pay 1/2 the cost of the component for a power cord, that would make at least a $26,000 for the component you are using it on. If you spend that much on the amp / preamp / CD player, chances are good that it has a decent power cable with it....

All I can say is - there apparently is a class of people that price really is, no object. I don't understand or know any of them, but I would love to be one. :)

Regular Monster cables will do nicely, as will cables from Signal Cables and Blue Jeans Cables too.
Yo do not need 13,000 cables, save money,, spend it on Pizza and Beer

It's all relative, folks. Some folks think that $1000.00 for cables is insane and maybe for them it is, to others it's the cheap stuff.

At least they have a money back guarantee. You may have to be very careful and not put any abnormal wear and tear on the cables and you may have to wait and extra month for the dough but . . . I still wouldn't do it! I like 30 money back guarantees that don't have stipulations. Of course I wouldn't expect a refund if I abused the cables.

Which company/person was offering the million dollar reward if you could prove there was a differnce between those cables and say monster cables?
