are printed pictures considered media mail?

Over the summer I took alot of pictures and then printed them on my computers printer.. they look great actually. I want to send them to my parents within the same state.
does anyone know if printed pictures are considered media mail? and can be mailed for the lower rate?
my parents don't have a computer or email.. so I can't send em that way. this is ok skool where you have to use the USPS to get anything to my parents. :eek:
