Brand new Polk iSonic entertainment system

SOLD*SOLD*SOLD
A friend of mine won this in some kind of WGBH fundraising raffle. She's over 70 and already has a table radio she's happy with, so she wants me to sell it for her. I think most of the results will be donated to our church.
Full digital/radio/DVD, etc. All the info on this is right here: http://isonic.polkaudio.com/
The box has been opened, but the contents haven't been touched. Everything's wrapped and sealed inside. Polk lists these things for $599, dunno what a new-old-stock one is worth. How's $350 plus US shipping sound? Please let me know if isn't the going rate.
I can get pics if anyone wants them, but it's what you'd expect a box with a radio in it to look like.
I'd also consider trading this for a power amp, preamp, or appropriate SDA speakers (locally.) In that case I'd take the stuff and pay the woman for the iSonic.

what color is it ?
-
Black/Silver.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
-
Right, I think they only come in one color scheme. Here's a photo just to clarify.
-
Sorry I thought it also came in white. But Black is what we are looking for. Now, I didn't see any feedback about you. Do you have anyone who can back you up as a seller ? or vouch for you? as we are interested, it's what we are looking for for the bedroom.
Does anyone know how good or bad this Isonic sounds ? Yes I read the the reviews, but I would like a polkies opinion. -
I actually like the I-Sonic. For what it is, it is a decent background music contender. The point has been made before and I concur. Raise the unit up off the surface to enhance the bass.
There are a lot of features which I do not use. It is simply a FM radio and CD player for me. Willow, at that price you could always sell it and get your money back if you are not happy. I agree, seller feedback is important.Michael

We use ours in the master bedroom, and it's going NO WHERE. I added a PSW111 to the preouts, and plugged the power port.
Cheers,
RussCheck your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service. -
Take the bus!
1hr bus ride or 20 min car ride.... on top of that bus per month is about 200$ for the both of us. -
Oh come on, that's no excuse. Get a moped!
I haven't done any business with Polk folks, but I've sold a little gear on Audiokarma and I have a 500+ rating on eBay. Plus other non-audio fora. -

I'll keep that in mind, but for now I'm going to pass. Even though it's a great pre I'd want something along more traditional lines (phono, multiple tapes, etc.)

Sorry
The only thing I have that comes close to those specs is a vintage Luxman piece that will probably stay in the vault. I pull it out every now and then when I feel like listening to the vinyl.polkaudio SRS (rdo194 x 8)

Bump. Would also consider a trade for a suitably high-end air rifle, but that's an uncommon thing.

Bump...
-
Last try before eBay or CL. I appreciate some of the offers I've gotten via PM, but it's not really my money to play with and they seem most comfortable with the $350 figure.

See my mention of other trades in the first post. If I could work a good trade for me I'd just go ahead and pay her the money outright for the radio. -

I know I'm just playing around, i thought maybe the lady had a rodent problem -

Those would have to be some pretty special cats. Can they assemble solid-state amp kits?
-
Thought I had it sold before going on the 'bay, that fell through. Last try before it really does go up.
-
And that's it, up on da 'bay.
Edit: Sold on da 'bay for $495 via BIN. That was quick.
