You definitely don't need more power than that. Looks like good choices, to me. Patriot, Corsair, Crucial all make good RAM.

How do you know you're going to end up with a Q6600 with G0 stepping?

The power supply is rated at 850watts. Would this be enough?

Oh yeah. Hence my comment that you don't need more power than that. ;)

I'm just going with 700watts, and you're not really running any more than I am.

Here is what I would suggest. I built mine for the same reasons but had a limited budget or I would have built this exactly. I think you might be going a little overkill on the power supply and bumped up the hard drive space. I don't know if you plan on doing HD video editing, but that takes up a lot of space and even this hard drive will run out of room fast depending on the length of video you are trying to render a video from. I did 4GB of memory because your MB will handle it(it will handle up to 8GB actually) and your OS will recognize it and use it to it's full potential. I also threw in a video card(lifetime warranty) and a great case from Antec. The memory also has a lifetime warranty as well.

    FYI, my current setup
    Athlon 64x2 6000+
    2GB of the memory above
    Same hard drive
    Asus Board with similar specs
    Same video card

This setup allows me to download DV from a camcorder via firewire, while rendering a 30 minute video in uncompressed format and play a video game online without breaking a sweat. So you shouldn't have any problems because yours will be a bigger beast than mine.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
I know just enough to be dangerous, but don't tell my wife, she thinks I'm a genius. :D

    Pioneer VSX-816
    Monitor 40's - fronts, bi-amped
    Monitor 30's - surrounds
    CS1 - center
    PSW10 - I'll let you guess
Blue Jeans Cable - speaker cable
Daewoo 27 incher - one step up from a console
    Sony Progressive scan DVD
    XBOX

The image that I provided you was from Newegg. They have great customer service, prices are great and shipping is really fast.
