It takes a few pushes of the switches to catch but it powers up and works fine. I just powered it up and put a little piece of cardbord next to the switch and the 12v trigger from the anthem powered it no problem, PM you address and we will out the details.

I have yet to purchase a sub for my system. Is that velodyne a worthy 1st sub, or should I be squirreling away my cash for something with a little more oomph?

I don't have an amp (just this denon receiver), so I'm not even sure what kind of sub I could/should try to push...

This is not an svs but will get the job done, it has a real filling in sound with semi-tight bass. Are their better sure but probably not much at this price point.

Sorry man at not getting back to you, the unit is black and silver and can be taken apart, you wold have to be extra carefull as the shelves are smoked glass in color. I am in Union, NJ and pickup is welcomed. Let me know.

I have filled up a 10x12 storage pod and need another one, so this must go 550.00 shipped. I am not desperate just need some more space for putting things away. This pretty much is what I have left after the speakers are picked up, you could build a nice second rig with this, 2 channel with my LSi9 was great.
