Just realized i need a Cd player for the new 2chnl system. I have a DVD player i was gonna use in the meantime but i use it for Zone 2 for my porch speakers since Zone 2 is Analog only on my receiver. Anyone got an extra one laying around. Single Tray is fine, dont need all the bells and whistles just something to get me started.

What you got?

Thanks
P

Might be willing to move my Pioneer Elite 45avi along.

CD, SACD, progressive scan, 9/10 condition. Not sure what a fair price would be, maybe $150 + shipping or so?!?

Sounds like a good deal but too rich for my pocket at the moment. Dont need anything fancy, just yet.

    Thanks for the offer though

if you don't find anything here. check out ebay and look into a NAD 502 or 5340 CD players.. both are older models that still sound good.. I think they usually go for around $30 or so. be for warned thou that the displays often times no longer work on them. but if you find one that does... they are really good sounding.

they both offer variable outputs, fixed outputs and digital coax out too.

Craigslist might be your best bet. Or someone will eventually chime in here.

Thing is, not many people have stand alone CD players that cost between $50 - $100 anymore. They likely either have higher end audio/video players, or a $50 DVD player. Not sure you'll find much available in between.

Get yourself a sony 595 if they're still on sale. They used to have refurbs for $60 - $70.

yeah i have the same Marantz in my home theater system... for that price you can't go wrong. I have had zero problems with it in two years. use the analog outputs on it for best sound.
