Amp mounted on a board supplied by the customer, eventually there will probably be a mono block on there as well.

Stereo sounds amazing, blows the bose out of the water needless to say. We also unhooked the stock center channel that was in the dash. The amazing part is going from the bose sub to a 6.5 component in a deadened door there is actually more bass then with the bose system. Stereo turned out nice and sounds amazing

Questions, comments :D

What kind of monoblock and sub are going in?

What material did you use for the 0.5" baffle?

    Looks good!

I thought fast cars you were supposed to subtract the weight and add the horsepower not add the weight and keep the hp constant.

Looks great none the less, nice install.

the weight added was minimal, i mean whats a c400.4 weigh

.5" mdf, spraypainted to seal it and .25" for the woofer

I guess, I know quite a few corvette owners and none of them would even think about adding an extra pound in their cars....yet they have no problem adding horsepower. To each his own with their own cars.

All that sound deadener, wiring, mdf, adds up.

Any reason why the owner didnt want the amp in an enclosed amp rack?

I took over 100lbs off of mine. :D

As for the install, do you plan on hiding those cables and wire loom? It looks kind of tacky as is.

And I agree about the sticker. :D

Its funny I do more installs in vettes then anything else. Many owners want a nice sounding system for the car they enjoy driving the most, some cars i do are bone stock others are modded to the high heavens. The sticker is now off the amp and the amp was installed where the owner requested and he said to just loom it for now till we figure out what we are doing for a sub amp and at that time an amp rack and cover will be made.
