I KNOW how to "make the bidding stop", LOL
We all ask "questions" we KNOW the answers to, like ARE there replacement drivers availiable, are any drivers "frozen" YET, HOW many capacitors are leaking, etc, etc.
Once any and all these questions get seen on Ebay, it scares the timid off sometimes. -

Genius. Not a bad idea, if it comes down to it. I'm waiting a bit to bid because I need to get a financial thing straightened out before I start spending more money.:D -

But it happens.
I was looking at a McIntosh 275, all ready to buy it for 500.00 when another call comes in at the sellers house.
The seller put it on speaker phone, and informed the caller it was sold, that someone was over buying it.
The caller then TOLD the seller it was worth 3000.00.
Guess what happened then :eek: -
Oh, that's just mean. That's really mean.

Sometimes buyers can be outright vindictive.
If they did not "get the deal", they will screw it up for those who did if possible.
I wonder what is going on with the speakers on Orlando ? -
Well, they're sold. It wasn't me, but they sold for just over $1000.

I've never understood why the biggest SDA dick has to be the best. Aside from a taller soundstage, they sound the same. The benchmark for me is the 2.3TL. The 1.2 is a zero benefit in my travels.
I couldn't agree more. I had both...needed to get rid of one, and I ended up keeping the 2.3TL's. They sound just as nice IMO.
