Horay for Craigslist!

Just made my first purchase of craigslist, mint rt1000p's and a cs400!!!! So much better than the randomness i had before (r40's and an infinity bookshelf as the center :eek: ) Well now everything matches!! I cant wait to tweek the powertower. any advise on methods used? This is my first adventure into power towers!!!! Ive only been listing in stereo so far and wow, the bass, should i through out the SVS?? lol j/k!!

    Craigslist is awesome....I get to see/hear/examine everything before laying any money down...lucked out and just got TWO pair of mint SRS's for 500 and 600 respectively...and a pair of sweet Carver Silver Seven t's for 600 as well...all on Craigslist. Also weeds out the junk...dont like the item...walk away.

    And you can't beat FREE if you are the seller :)

    Havent you ever heard of special effects to dramatize the picture??? lol, j/k. its because i used the camera in my treo (blue tooth makes pic transfer sooo easy). And i watched the Pear Harbor attack scene this morning, my couch was shaking!! the SVS and rt's where shaking everything!!

    Does the light in the middle of the speaker bother anyone? I havent watched late at night yet but i can imagine it becoming bothersome.
    If so what did you do to hide it?

    Nice pick-up! I've seen a lot of RT1000/RT2000 offerings on CL Dallas but don't have the room for them. Plus, I'm trying to stay committed to my lowly Monitor package for HT, but it's hard to say no when good CL deals pop up so often!

    I came to acquire a LSiC via trade from CL recently and I'm not sure if I should resell it, or hang onto it and build around it later on once I move into a more permanent place.

    That's how it starts, you get a good deal on one little thing like a random LSiC and then spend hundreds/thousands upgrading everything around it to match.
