General thoughts and thanks . . .

Hey,

I just wanted to thank everyone at this forum for helping me focus my attention on a good 2-channel system. The journey has been extremely rewarding and satisfying.

Dangerboy unwittingly reminded me recently that my current system with my new AZ Adagios is really starting to skim the high-end. The realism is astonishing to say the least. What I find most amazing however is the sensitivity these new speakers have to my components and room placement. In fact, the whole system can be changed immensely by a small tweak. Recently, I learned this when I moved my speaker not but a quarter of an inch and suddenly my soundstage was focused and tight! Truly amazing, how such a small change can have such an enormous impact.

I can't wait to see what my new room treatments will do when they arrive from GIK Acoustics.

    You do know that the free advice comes with tatoos of their names on your forearm....right? They have lawyers.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
