Enjoy. My SVS is the most significant upgrade I've ever made to my system. You won't be disappointed.

Look into the Velodyne SMS-1 as well when you get a chance. Im also running dual Plus 2s, I thought one was enough, 2 really does put the bass in ya seat, chest and then some. Congrats on your purchase, good color choice as well. Jump on them while you can before prices go up.

I bought my SVS used and my wife went with me to pick it up. I went in the guys apartment to get it and my wife stayed in the car. When I saw it sitting in this guys living room I thought, "There's no way my wife is gonna let me load this thing up in the truck." She did let me load it up (without saying a word might I add), but once the transaction was complete and we were driving off, she looks at me and says very dryly, "Kinda big isn't it?" Even though I'd never heard an SVS before, my reply was "Just wait until you hear it."...and once she did, all was good in my little world.

Same here, if I had to start all over again the SVS would be the first thing I'd buy.

    Ditto for me too.

When my SVS arrived, my wife said "How many things did you buy, anyway??"

So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

I have an SVS Ultra Cylinder sub I am not using.
You need an amp/crossover for it.
    It is not self powered.

I have two monster subs I built, it is just sitting here.

A great sub actually, will rock your world and shake your house apart!
