Well, I gotta be realistic and there is just no way I can afford to get a 2nd system fully up and running so I am going to sell these for now and hope in 6 months when college is over I find myself a real job and can buy what I really want in the future. And for those of you wondering about the aquarium, i took demi's advice and decided not to, i could get most of the stuff for free but i'd still be paying for alot of stuff that people don't give away.
So, that being said here they are
1. Polk Audio Monitor 10's - $125
Original 10's
Peerless Tweeters
Original Stands
Unbelievable condition
2. SOLDPolk Audio SDA2's - $225
Original 2's
4 SL1000 Tweeters
Newly reclothed and rebadged grills(look great done by yours truly)
Original IC cable included
Great condition
LOCAL SALE ONLY
Thanks,
Mark

If you get the opportunity to part with the stands - I could sure use a pair of them for my Monitors....
I can wait for it though, so give it awhile and see if the new owner of your monitors needs the stands or not....

Possibly, I'd really like to sell the stands with the speakers, since both go together well and are in such great condition. -
Monitor's pending sold a craigslist buyer on Wednesday night.

I'll take the monitors if your local sales falls thru.
I will need to have these shipped.SRT For Life; SDA Forever!
The SRT SEISMIC System:
Four main satellite speakers, six powered subs, two dedicated for LFE channel, two center speakers for over/under screen placement and three Control Centers. Amaze your friends, terrorize your neighbors, seize the audio bragging rights for your state. Go ahead, buy it; you only go around once. -

G-2 is the first buyer in line for them if the local buyer falls through. I didn't realize there was such a demand for 10's, I've passed up a few pairs on Craigslist the last few months. -
I am glad the 10's are sold, because I was sorely tempted (and I need another pair of speakers like I need... well, you can guess).
-
Seems these 10's were pretty popular
-
Sigh.
Nice sda's, nice price, wrong location.
Good luck.My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself. -
Any idea how those SDAs would compare to 11T's? Especially in the bass department.

You'd have to come have a listen..... only your ears can tell you that. -
SDA's just found themselves a new home. Soon as I get some time I am going to look into freight cost to ship the 10's
-
So I cut the guy a great deal on the SDA's cause I thought he really appreciated them and this is what he does to me:
http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/ele/444797310.html
Trying to turn them for 80% profit
They were nice, but definatley not $400 nice, especially being the originals with the SL1000. -
That really sucks....most of the time I REALLY drop the price for something when I know the buyer is really into whatever it is I am selling ( PC/speakers/electronics/etc ) .
You cut him a great deal because you felt this as well. The REAL slap is him posting them for sale in your local craigslist so soon after getting them from you...sure he can do with them as he pleases now..he paid for them....but it showed no class. The first rule of Fight Club is you don't talk about Fight Club -
Ya, the guy was really into them, tried out all sorts of music, loved how they sounded so I cut him a deal. said he he an awesome marantz amp to go with them.....which is now on CL as well, as well as 10-12 other vintage electronic items. I dont mind if he flipped them for 20-40, thats the name of the game, but asking $180 more than what you paid.....craziness.
Oh well. -

Edited. Shipping is too much of a PITA for speakers in this price range and really not reasonable.
