Up for sale is my Velodyne SMS-1 that I NEVER got around to use.:o I powered up the unit, but never actually used it. Still in the original box.

Now that I got rid of my subs, I have absolutely no use for it.


Unit sells for $599 New,SOLD(lower 48 only). Please add 3% if using PayPal. Money order, cashier's check, and personal check is welcome. Will ship once payment clears. Shipping elsewhere will be extra, depending on location.

Face it - bass is tough to get right in most listening environments because of the relationship between your subwoofer and the room it's placed in. Now you don't have to worry about it. The SMS-1, featuring Velodyne's revolutionary Digital Drive room correction software, provides all the tools you'll need to adapt ANY subwoofer to the anomalies of your room. With all the features of Digital Drive, including full DSP control, an on-screen display and 8-band digital parametric equalizer, you can see your subwoofer and room's unique characteristics on your TV and adjust the sub's performance accordingly. Presets enable you to tailor the bass to your listening tastes and source material. The SMS-1 won't turn your subwoofer into a Digital Drive sub, but it will get the best possible performance out of it. The SMS-1 comes in a slim, one unit high configuration.

    Nicely packed, double boxed, insured, and delivered with carrier of your choice.

    Wife just snagged the good digital camera to go to the pumpkin patch with the kids, photo was taken with cell phone. If anyone wants high-res pics, just ask.

    OMG. This is an excellent upgrade. One of the best things I ever purchased for HT. Don't sell it! You are never going to do HT again...?

    I do NOT want to get rid of it, but at the moment I don't need it. The job I'm about to embark on takes me away from home.

    When I get back sometime in the next couple years, I'm hoping to purchase again.

    Man, I'm so thinking about pulling the trigger on this myself for the upstairs setup. Someone buy this unit so I don't have too. Amazing price by the way.

    I'm interested, BUT not 100% committed let me think on it and see what the funds look like, man it is way to close to Christmas to be spending money but this is a deal, anyone one else feel free to jump on this while I ponder on it.

    Millerman showed interest, never commited. Treitz commits and says he'll take it. Treitz it yours.

    If Treitz backs out, then it's Millerman's.
