I'm not sure what it would sound like, but it looks awesome. I might have to give it a try and build something with a pair. What do you think of a 3-way speaker with just that as the driver. Pull off the cover and that is all you see...

    I think it's interesting, I saw that in my latest PE catalog. I just wish it had a lower F3.

    Their mid/tweeter combo also looks pretty cool. And is most likely more practical for most applications.

    My thoughts exactly. You need to get a sub involved. Also, unlike single fullrange drivers, that one still takes a crossover.

    Interesting indeed.I would like to see some raw (no crossover)frequency measurements of the individual drivers and see how linear they are.One big advantage of this arrangement would be that the acoustic centers of the 3 drivers would be the same so there would be no lobing issues.
