a friend of mine.. a guy just starting out in making movies... has entered one of his short films into a competition on Chiller TV website. Please check out his short movie entitled "Is There Such A Thing?"

he would really appreciate your vote on his short movie. I can tell from the photography and lighting and editing he's got some talent to do this. But he needs votes. please pass this along and have your friends vote too.

Here’s how it works. Horror movies between five and eight minutes long were submitted by our fans. Now visitors can cast their votes and choose the finalists. It’s that simple!

A top Hollywood producer will pick a winner in each of three categories: Best Picture, Creepiest Character and Scariest Special Effects. Winners will receive:

$5,000 IN PRIZE MONEY
A CHILLER PRIZE PACKAGE

Oh, and one more thing. The winning entries will air on television as part of “Chiller’s Dare to Direct Short Film Festival” on Halloween night!

Voting begins September 21st and ends October 1st at midnight
