Not that I'm a posting machine like a few of you, but I may be offline for very short while. Yesterday morning I broke my humerous clean in two playing futbol (soccer). I'm scheduled for surgery tomorrow at 330P then I'll be better than new!

I stayed pretty calm. The realization that it was more than just a crack probably would've won me the prize.
Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

Since you're going to be in a cast, won't you be on here more?
I've been on disability for a last few weeks due to a work related injury. I'm about to go blind from being on the computer so much. I'm actually looking forward to going back to work soon.

Pfft... walk it off.
Have fun with your pain meds. -
I had bone surgery done on my fore arm about 3 years ago. It hurts like hell for a few hours after the operation. I swear I could feel the tissue that they stripped off the bone moving back into place. After that it really isn't too bad. Healing time is much faster then a cast and the major pain is gone by the second day. Good luck.Michael

yep, i had elbow surgery almost 2 years ago and i swear the surgery to fix the elbow hurt more than me breaking it in the first place......shoulda just left it broken.... -
Surgery went well. I'm at home, doing well. I'll be out of the ace bandage today and doing some light exercises for my shoulder and elbow. Save for sleeping, I should be out of my sling by tomorrow or Saturday.
Thanks again for all the kind words and thoughts.

Neither. I was sprinting to some open space to receive a long, open-field, cross and clipped a player while looking over my shoulder for the ball.
