That's good to hear they are back in stock and good to go. I am thoroughly enjoying the difference in sound over the SL2000's and they are definitely easier on the ears when listening to some female singers like Allison Krauss and Ann Wilson (currently listening to)...hell, most ANY singer. It's amazing the difference in NOT hearing that 5dB+ peak at 14kHz (+/-). They were worth the price of admission IMHO.Richard? Who's your favorite Little Rascal? Alfalfa? Or is it........................Spanky?.................................Sinner.

I lived in Seattle from 1976 to 1989.
The Wilson sisters are from Seattle, seen em many times.
CRAZY ON YOU, man, you ought to hear it at my house.
My big 9'5 cu ft corner mounted 15" subs SLAM with 1500 watts on each one.
It hits you in the chest, just like at a concert.
Yes, the SL 2000 gots to go, hello RDO 194's !
Below is a picture of some drivers I used to use in the monster subs.
The speaker is a JBL L 7, the amp is a bridged Ashly FET 500 producing 1500 watts into 4 ohms.
The big TC Sounds LMS 4000 15" woofers were just TOO inefficient, needing more power to come to FULL excursion.
Even in a 24 by 20 foot room, they were over kill.
I went to a pair of Cadence Wild Beast Kevlar 15' drivers instead. http://www.cadencestore.com/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=25&idproduct=71
Flat in theory down to 35 hz, but room and corner gain makes em flat to about 25.
Good enough, fast, powerful, efficient and FAST.
Very musical, with a final Q of about .6
I plan to go to an even steeper crossover then the 24 db RaneI now have.
That way I can really make em slam, w/o muddying up the sound. -
I LOVE Ann and Nancy Wilson, and Roger Fisher too of Heart!

I MISS Seattle man.
I live in Florida now.
Seattle has some really beautiful women, especially ones from 35 to 50.
The Lack of Sun must do it, because they all seem to have non wrinkled skin!
Here in Florida, many look like dried out prunes from the Sun.
The Sun is nice, but NOT for skin. -

Had some friends lived off Girard street there.
Met em at the Apple Blossom Festival !
We all went over to Cour De Alene, Idaho, nice place!
Just say Cops Show on TV, they were in Spokane.
Lots of Crystal Meth there too I see ?
BAD STUFF.
It is epidemic here in Florida! -
