I have one of these that I picked up about a year ago. I have never seen one go up on ebay before.
I have it as my basement rig mated with my Dynaco 410 amp for a vintage set-up. It is built like a tank but I really have no knowledge of its history, orginal cost, any reviews etc. Cool thing is that it was made in Willow Grove, PA which is very close to where I grew up. One of the unusual aspect is that the power switch does not turn the preamp controls on, simply controls the power jacks in the rear. The preamp is always on. My tech said that was sometimes done to reduce the amount of paths the signal had to go through (or something like that) to keep the signal more pure.
