Super noob, help!

I'm looking to to put in a sub into my 96 a4. Thats all, nothing fancy. I took a look in the trunk and theres a stock amp. Where do I go from there?

    The stock amp in your A4 has nothing to do with the installation of a sub. It is for the speakers. I know quite a bit of the A4/Jetta breed, and have instaled a stereo in both, one of them being mine. (Jetta) What are you looking to install and how much do you want to spend on it? You can install a sub without replacing your headunit, but if it is done wrong you could have an electrical shitstorm on your hands......Not that an Audi/VW isn't one already......:p
