im looking to get a sql sub and heard very good things about this sub. i want a sub that will take the 1000 watts that my fosgate power 1000 will dish out and this seems to fit the bill. has anyone ever heard this sub?

If you can still track down an adire Brahma I'd go with that... I heard they went (temporarily) out of business so ebay would be your best bet...MacLeod: I guess youre lucky Polk has such lax hiring standards.

There are some Brahma clones and hybrids being released now (an internet search should put you in the right direction) at decent pricing. The SI Mag is supposed to be good, and don't overlook Polk's own SR series subs

i love my sr124's, but i dont think it will handle all that power. plus i need one sub to give me a 1 ohm load, and do that in a small box. stereo integrity is working on a new version of the mag that is even better than the mag d2. if its better than it must be a real sick driver. i wish i could hear one though.kenwood excelon kdc-x991 h.u.
