    Thats not that good is it?

    I was looking at a Sony Bravia 42" today at Sears for $1500. My favorite, the Pioneer 42" plasma goes for $1400.

    that' great for here as 37" lcd same make is 1200$ cad. With our $ kickin' major butt, that's a steal for us.

    I take it back. 46", 1080p for $1500 isnt a bad deal at all.

    I've noticed some nice prices on flat screens at my local Best Buy lately.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I have too.

    My theory is that we have Vizio, Sylvania and Olevia to thank for that. Theyve come out recently with some "decent" quality flat screens for nearly half the price of the big boys. I would never buy one but for John Q Sixpack out there that wouldnt know the difference would.

    Sanyo is also coming out with some alternatives. You can get a 42" LCD from them at Walmart for $900. Its also not a bad picture at all!

    I think this is whats driving the price down.
