    I have an HCA 1000a on the highs of my 1.2tls and I love it. If the 1500 sounds as sweet you are in for a treat.

    Tell him you have a friend that lives close by and would he mind if that person dropped by to look at the amp. I did this one time and never heard back from the seller. Saved me some $$.

    Very good idea...actually DID have a friend in Texas ( I am in Calif ) that I was going to have go look at a XPS dell gaming laptop before I bought it...when I mentioned that to the seller I never heard from him again.

    Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

    WTG Darla! You are going to love that amp. It's the first serious amp I got that showed me what my speakers could do!

    Thanks. The Cinenova is no slouch but I think it's more suited to HT although it does sound nice for music as well. I just think something a bit less forward might be better. Why did you switch to the Sunfire from the Parasound?

    I wanted to amp all my speakers. Sunfire was the only 5 channel amp that I can lift. it just weighs 3lbs more than the Parasound!
