You guys should not miss this one if you want to see one of the craziest muscle car...I guess I could use the word pursuits....

1.-Rent it.

2.-Wait for the right time to watch it.....NOT family friendly, definitely no kids, probably not for the wifey (I know not for mine).

3.-Watch it (You might want to fast forward the first hour or so....)

Sickest movie I've seen in a long time.....gonna watch it again later....

Why not for the wifey?. . . mine likes all kinds of weird, crazy, spooky, bloody/gory, rip roaring stuff, if that's the stuff in this movie then I'll have a twosome.

Just watched this. The first 45 mins dragged a bit. Not Tarantino's best, but if you like his stuff you'll probably like this. Definitely entertaining.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

    Holy CRAP!!!
I was about to start a thread on this flick FIRST THING THIS MORNING!!!
This is by FAR and AWAY one of the single most, baddest **** movies ever made!

    Car crashin', twisted metal... check.
    Blood, guts, and blood... check.
    Best lap dance EVER.... check.

Run (do not walk) and snag this DVD. Thank me later.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

My question is are they ever going to put out a full Grindhouse disc set? I'd love to see it with all the fake trailers in between and everything.

I know. I really, really feel that I dropped the ball in not seeing this in the theater. I'm sure the fact that they had to split 'em in an attempt to recoup a good chunk of the box office loss takes away from the experience.

To think Deathproof was just half the fun?!? And was supposedly the weaker of the two movies?

    And I agree with HT...
I actually watched it back to back.

Can't think of the last time I did that.

I love Tarantino's stuff but I am confused is there two flicks here? If so what are they? What did he do split it like Kill Bill?

Tarantino did Deathproof. Rodriguez did Planet Terror. They came in one package when released in the theater, but have "split" for the DVD release.

This is not so odd if you're familiar with From Dusk Til Dawn -- where Tarantino directed the first half of the movie and Rodriguez directed the second half.

I love Rodriguez's work too. I watch everything they do!

    Which is the correct order?

Planet Terror gets the ball rolling. And I believe there were some fake "previews" during the intermission. Supposedly, they were awesome...
but there was nothing on the Deathproof DVD. Hopefully, they'll be hidden somewhere on Planet Terror.

As Bob and I sort of alluded to, Grindhouse was intended to be a cinematic event. Not just a movie. It failed epically, but was pretty much universally loved by movie critics. Go figure.
