I find that this genre is really hit or miss, maybe more miss as far as SQ goes.
I've been at home for the last few weeks due to some time off then a injury at work I will be stuck here for another week, if not longer and I need some new music.
So what would you guys recommend?

can't go wrong with machine head's new album "the blackening". very humbling indeed. they are putting out some amazing stuff these days, AND it sounds amazing to boot. another great cd is Nevermore's "dreaming neon black", or "the politics of ecstasy" both fall easily into this category.
btw these cds are metal.
grunge doesn't classify as "SQ" material, nuff said. (though i do enjoy it)

I just bought the DCC remaster of Master of puppets & it hasnt left my cd player all week. First time I've ever owned the entire album & I must say I may like it even more than the black album.
