Only one compotent hook up

I am getting a cable box on Saturday. I also have a hd-dvd player.
I have a old big screen tv that I bought in 2002. The problem is I only one
compotent 1080i hook up. The other two are for 480 i or 480 p.
I want both of them hooked up to the 1080i. Any suggestions? would you run the compotents the receiver. How would you hook this up?

Take a look at your local Wally-World Radio Shack or, if you want to pay more for the same, Your local high-end haunt. There are some component switchers around on the cheap. And some are even remote controlled if you want to add another to the coffee table clutter. Give it a shot.

Couldn't you just run the compotents through the receiver???????Everything I own burned in the fire!!!!!!!!!!
