how good are the rti8's?

i found a friend who is selling the rti8's, fxi3's and the matched center for 300 bucks. should i take him up on the offer? seems like an incredible deal, though im not sure what it will sound like with my martin logan dynamo. anyone have any input? would i be a fool not to buy these?

    Killer deal......if anybody wants just the RTi8's I just saw the Frys ad and they are 199 each...but your deal is a no brainer...get em :)

    so i picked up the rti8's, the fxi3's, and the csi3 yesterday...


    WOW.

    that's all i have to say. a tad bright, but i can fix that. these are some of the most translucent speakers i have heard in some time.. the helicopter blades in Terminator 2 sound like they should! Even things like whistles sound very accurate to me. im SO glad i got these! Thanks for the encouragement guys, i needed that.:D :D
